PERSONAL LETTER FROM SUZANNE

Dear Family, Friends and Partners of Purifying Fire International,

     As I write this letter I pray 2011 finds you and your loved ones well and knowing that this is one of the most sovereign & greatest time in history.  Preparing us not to look to the right or the left, but like Paul said, to keep our eyes on the finish line and Jesus Christ who is the author and finisher of our faith. Hebrews 12:1-2

     As you may know, I am walking through one of the most difficult seasons of life. I never thought I would be going through a divorce.  My heart is broken.  After much prayer, counseling from respected ministers, and much fasting, I feel God has said, “Suzanne I want you to take time to seek me for the direction I want you and Purifying Fire International to take.  It is with a desire to be obedient to His voice and God’s word that I said, as Samuel, “Speak Lord, your servant heareth.”   I am taking a sabbatical and anxiously await what God wants to do in and through me.

     Many of you, like me, are facing trials of life.  You have heartaches and losses on every hand.  As you say Lord my dependency is on you.  You are my desire, my hearts cry, the Lord has promised to hear and to answer.
    
    Jeremiah 33:3 tells us to call unto Him and He will answer you and show you great and mighty things that we know not.  

God is looking and longing for a people who are not complacent but are willing to say here I am Lord.  I don’t want to stand on the outside looking in.  I want to be where you can make a difference in my life and others.  I long to go to your throne room of mercy and grace (Hebrew 4:16)  and to give you every portion of my being.  Worshiping you in spirit and in truth with an uncompromised lifestyle and obedient to the Bible.  Let Him totally have a vessel that can be His habitation.

     Every person was put on this earth with an assignment that only you can fulfill.  No one is made totally alike.  My mother, Pauline Harthern on February 9, 1959, gave birth to twins, Suzanne Harthern Hinn and Leanne
Harthern.  Even though we are so much alike, the Lord made us each unique.  The Lord made you unique also.  You are not or do you need to be a carbon copy of anyone.  Even though we admire attributes in others, we must become the person God has ordained us to be in Him.  That is why the Lord tells is in Matthew 6 Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things will be added to you.   That is why we can respect and honor a person but “never” but them on a pedestal to be idolized or worshipped.  

    Please continue to pray for me and for Purifying Fire International. God is opening up many nations, churches and exciting directions and that is why I am once again, taking this time to seek His direction.  Our staff has changed.  Leanne Pendergrass has resigned and we wish her God’s best.

   The mandate most on my heart is to go to the uttermost parts of the earth not just with the gospel, but also with food, medical supplies and helping hands to reach the hungry and hurting.  I can only do this through your continued support in prayers, interceding and offerings, large or small.

   May we labor together with Him, knowing that the fields are ready for harvest, whom here on earth can he send.   Thank you for being a part of Purifying Fire International and I covet your prayers for me and this ministry.
